In fact it was not a good day for fishing. The fishing season is over, although there were some good looking crabs for sale at the pier.
In Pescadero, Ron Duarte was telling some of his customers that he had a 3 pound crab. Have you been to Duarte’s lately? The menu has some new items you will love.
Funniest thing happened today….Photographer Jerry Koontz was looking for a certain fisherman, an oldtimer….He knew where he ate breakfast everyday and went there…but when the fisherman came he wouldn’t get out of his truck. He drove down the pier the turned around and left the harbor.
“He’s in a foul mood,” another man told Jerry. “He might throw you off the pier.” Not literally, of course.
Not a good day for fishing, I guess.
